Marcin Chełkowski is an engineer and economist specialising in waste management for 30 years. He has acquired PhD in Economics, in the field of economic efficiency of waste management. Marcin was a designer and co-designer of many waste processing installations and a consultant to more than 100 municipalities and municipal companies in the waste management sector, with experience also in managing the municipal waste management system and waste processing installations. He also has international experience in waste management collected in countries such as Germany, Russia, Serbia, Albania, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. Lecturer in the subject “waste management” at the Cracow University of Technology and the AGH University of Science and Technology. Technical advisor to the National Chamber of Waste Management. Holds professional qualifications in construction and waste management.

Currently:

  • Development Manager of PGK  Ltd, Koszalin – a municipal company of the city of Koszalin, providing MSW management services,
  • CEO of IVW Polska Ltd – an engineering company providing consultancy and design services in the waste sector,
  • Chief of the supervisory board of the company ECO in Wadowice-Chocznia – MSW treatment company, PPP of the city of Wadowice and EMPOL Ltd.
